CFRC is a network on the central west coast of Vancouver Island whose mission is to develop the capacity on the West Coast to address the needs of children, youth, families and communities by improving communications and networking between service providers, agencies, communities and funders. The Division of Family Practice, Island Health, Ministry of Children and Families, Clayoquot Biosphere Trust, Alberni Clayoquot Regional District, the Alberni Clayoquot Health Network, School District 70, First Nations Health Authority, Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council, District of Tofino, District of Ucluelet, Toquaht Nation, Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ First Nation, Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation, Ahousaht First Nation, Hesquiaht First Nation, RCMP, and many more!

They are community-based groups of family physicians working together to achieve  common health care goals, sponsored by the General Practice Services Committee  (GPSC) and funded by the Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC.

Contact us at coordinator@coastalcoalition.ca and ask where our next Coalition meeting is being held. Meetings normally occur on the first Wednesday of each month at 10am in alternating west coast communities. Everyone is welcome.
